Dear polymer engineers!

We, the polymer engineering and science student representatives, see ourselves as one of the links between students and lecturers at the University of Leoben. This includes, above all, having open ears for problems that are brought to us by students. Our task is then to find solutions that satisfy all parties to the conflict. The co-determination of the further development of our studies is very important to us, which is why we are also represented in the Curriculum Commission.

So don't hesitate to contact us by mail (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or in the WhatsApp groups if you have study-related problems or other concerns!

In order to promote the cohesion between the Leoben polymer engineers, we organize together with the Association of Leoben Polymer Engineers (http://www.vlk.or.at/) the "KomeTogether" in the injection molding hall of the Center for Polymer Engineering and Science in the winter semester and a suckling pig barbecue in the summer semester, which have become good meeting points for sitting together comfortably for years, but also stimulate the exchange between professors, the mid-level staff and the students of the Department of Polymer Engineering and Science.

So that we don't just meet once a semester, there will always be small events where you can get in touch with other polymer engineering students. These include breakfasts or ice cream dinners together.

Interesting for further information is also our page on the Polymer Engineering and Science homepage, where you can find all our grants and further information. https://www.kunststofftechnik.at/studium/studienvertretung

During the study of polymer engineering and science, both in the bachelor's and master's program, internships have to be completed for which safety shoes of safety level S3 are required. For this investment 20 Euro can be reimbursed by the student representation.

Since the examination for "Elastomer Technology I" in the Master's program must be taken at the Semperit company, the Polymer Engineering and Science Student Representation will also provide a travel allowance of 15 euros.

In the course of the bachelor's and master's degree program in plastics engineering, technical literature in the field of plastics engineering may be required for exam preparation.

For this reason, the Polymer Engineering and Science Student Representation would like to support students in purchasing this literature.
