Dear metallurgist!
We - Theresa, Raphael and Robert - are your metallurgy student representatives. Our task is to provide you with the best possible support and services in and around your studies. We organize exciting lectures for you by professors and industry partners, get-togethers for networking, jacket and t-shirt campaigns, summer and Christmas parties and much more! We support your interests at the university, for example as members of the curriculum committee or other committees of all kinds, and we also support you if you have any problems with your studies.
Do you have a problem with lecturers, do you feel you have been treated unfairly, or do you have an idea or suggestion that you would like to share with us? Then please contact us at any time at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or just talk to us if you see us!
We also offer a consultation hour every Thursday from 13:30 - 14:30, where you can find us in the open-plan office of the ÖH. In this context, we are happy to talk about study-related matters or simply chat over a cozy coffee.
Of course, there is also a Google Drive where you can find all the documents and scripts related to studying metallurgy. We will be happy to send you the link on request.
In order to improve networking amongst metallurgists, we have created a WhatsApp group. The invitation link has been sent to you by email. If you have not received it or if you are new, we will be happy to resend it to you upon request.
We offer you a small financial support if you buy a textbook from the list below. We have selected books on the basic subjects as well as on specific fields of metallurgy. After purchasing one of these books, all you have to do is send us the completed form, the invoice and confirmation of enrollment for the metallurgy programm. Once all the information has been checked, you will receive the grant.
