EURECA PRO: Megatrends in a changing scenario

Die dieswöchige Vorlesung wird gehalten von Nuria González Rabanal von der University of León und trägt den Titel " The future role of EU: Megatrends in a changing scenario".

EURECA- PRO startet eine kostenlose Online- Ringvorlesung, gehalten von führenden Professoren und Forschern sieben europäischer Universitäten aus sechs Ländern. Die Vorlesungsreihe beinhaltet 14 Vorlesungen zu den Themen “Verantwortungsvoller Konsum und Produktion“. Die Vorlesungen sollen eine Einführung und einen beginnenden Überblick über die facettenreiche Natur von verantwortungsvollem Konsum und Produktion innerhalb der folgenden Bereiche geben:

·        Ziele der Nachhaltigen Entwicklung

·        Europäische Union und Kultur

·        Ansatz des Nachhaltigen Rohstoffabbaus

·        Circular Economy

·        Nachhaltigkeits- und Energietechnologien

·        Schlüsselrolle der Materialien in der verantwortungsvollen Produktion

Es werden innovative Lösungen für die aktuellen Aufgaben aus Gesellschaft und Industrie aufgezeigt mit Fokus auf das 12. UN- Ziel für nachhaltige Entwicklung. Die Vorlesungen sind frei für alle Studierenden, Forscher und akademisches Personal.

Alle Teilnehmer können für jede teilgenommene Lehrveranstaltung ein Zertifikat erhalten. Die Vorlesungsreihe ist Teil des Moduls “Einführung in das 12. Ziel für Nachhaltige Entwicklung mit seinen ökonomischen, sozialen, ökologischen und Technologie- Dimensionen. Die Vorlesung wird mit 5 ECTS anerkannt, wenn mindestens 11 Vorlesungen besucht wurden, ein Online- Test absolviert wurde und eine schriftliche Arbeit verfasst wurde. Die schriftliche Arbeit umfasst 10 Seiten und soll das Verständnis des 12. UN Ziels der Nachhaltigen Entwicklung zeigen, den Lernschwerpunkt sowie einen Forschungsansatz zur Umsetzung des 12. Ziels. Die notwendigen Informationen und Anforderungen für die Teilnahme senden wir bis Ende April an alle angemeldeten Teilnehmer aus.

This weeks lecture will be held by Nuria González Rabanal from University of León and is titeled "The future role of EU: Megatrends in a changing scenario".

EURECA-PRO is starting free online lecture series presented by leading professors and researchers of seven European universities from six countries. The series consists of 14 lectures on the topic "Responsible Consumption and Production".The Lectures are intended to provide an introduction and initial overview of the multi-faceted nature of responsible consumption and production illustrated by the following thematic areas:

• Sustainable Development Goals
• European Union and Culture
• Responsible Mining Approach
• Circular Economy
• Sustainability and Energy Technologies
• Key role of materials in responsible production

Innovative solutions for current issues of society and industry focusing on United Nation Sustainable Development Goal 12 “Responsible Consumption and Production” are drafted.

The lectures are open for all students, researchers and academic staff.

All participants can get a Certificate of Attendance for each lecture. 

The lecture series is one part of the module „Introduction to Sustainable Development Goal 12 in its economic, social, environmental and technology dimensions“. Recognition with 5ECTS credits can be granted if 11 lectures are attended, an online test is taken at the end and a study paper is written. The paper should comprise 10 pages and show the student's understanding of SDG 12, describe the major of study and show a research approach towards of SDG12 to this major. We will send necessary information and conditions of participation until the end of April to anyone who has expressed interest by registering.
